How to track your cell phone using InstaMapper

Then download their little application to your cell phone and install it, and now you can start to track your cell phone and journey. Below is a step by step guide.
-Sign up with InstaMapper. You can go here and enter your username, password and valid email to create an account. Please note that you should keep the 13-digit device key assigned to your phone during this signing process.
-Install the application. At the moment InstaMapper supports iPhone (download the tracking apps from App store), Android (download from Android Market), Blackberry (download from BlackBerry App World, here, or here for higher resolution) and Motorola iDEN, for other cell phone tracking, you can get the apps here.
-Start up and log in. After installing the little GPS tracking software, run it and enter the device key acquired in the first step. Now sign in to your account and check your cell phone location on Google Maps.
Once you are set and InstaMapper starts to track your cell phone, you can share your whereabouts with your friends. It’s available in a few ways. You can send a link to your friends, when they click on the link (there are two types of link, one for PC and one for cell phone), they will be able to view your location. You can also choose to share your location on Facebook. In order to do so, you need to download their app for Facebook, then use the Facebook tracking key to embed the map. If you have a website or a blog, you can embed the map on them as well.
All in all, InstaMapper is one of the best and most popular cell phone tracking apps out there. It runs on many mobile platforms, this is one of the reasons why it is widely used. It allows you track a cell phone location in real-time (location updates every 5 seconds), and you can use it to track you trip as well.
Please note, like any other cell phone tracking software, you need a data plan as InstaMapper needs to send and receive data between your phone and their server.
